A certified diver’s boat day, an introductory experience and a course are different requests. Share your qualification, recent diving experience and the kind of trip you have in mind. The dive operator confirms eligibility and the appropriate programme.
If you want a liveaboard, consider cabin accommodation, nights aboard and the route’s experience requirements separately from a hotel-based diving holiday. Do not assume that a day-trip qualification requirement applies to every liveaboard itinerary.
El Gouna, Hurghada or Soma Bay?
El Gouna offers diving alongside a hotel stay and other activities. Hurghada is a base for reef and island boat outings. Soma Bay offers house-reef and boat options. Choose between the convenience of your preferred hotel and the specific diving format you want.
Ask where the dive centre is, where the boat leaves and how equipment and guests reach it. A hotel pickup, shore access and a boat transfer are distinct arrangements. Keep these details clear when comparing quotes.
A useful brief for a mixed group
List divers and non-divers separately, including anyone who wants to snorkel or take an introductory session. It may be more practical to arrange different activities on some days and shared experiences on others.

Can I combine diving with golf?

Are dive sites fixed in advance?
Operators select suitable sites according to conditions, ability and operating requirements. Treat a proposed route as subject to their confirmation.
